Sen. Panfilo Lacson on Tuesday prolonged kudos to authorities forces who reportedly recovered P79 million in money and checks from a Maute stronghold in Marawi City.
In a tweet, Lacson mentioned this got here after weeks of combating that rendered many uniformed personnel fatigued.

Earlier stories indicated the Marines recovered P79 million in money and checks from a Maute lair.
Fighting with the Maute group, believed to have ties with the Islamic State, had prompted the declaration of martial regulation over Mindanao.
