Three senators and 11 congressmen have reportedly voted to reject the appointment of Social Welfare Secretary Judy Taguiwalo throughout a current Commission on Appointments listening to.

Amid public dismay over dropping a reliable Cabinet member, the camp of Taguiwalo bared on Facebook the checklist of the Senate contingent who rejected her appointment, that features Senate President Koko Pimentel and Senators Gregorio Honasan and Panfilo Lacson.

The congressmen who voted in opposition to Taguiwalo had been Ronaldo Zamora, San Juan City, CA vice chair; Rodolfo Albano, Isabela, 1st District; Joel Mayo Almario, Davao Oriental, 2nd District; Wes Gatchalian, Valenzuela, 1st District; Juliet Cortuna, A Teacher Partylist; Antonio Floirendo Jr., Davao del Norte, 2nd District; Roy Loyola, Cavite, fifth District; Rosenda Ann Ocampo, Manila, sixth District; Benhur Salimbangon, 4th District; Josephine Ramirez-Sato, Oriental Mindoro; Abraham Tolentino, Cavite, sixth District

A majority vote of not less than 13 of the 25-strong CA is required to reject an appointment.
