Germany has responded to the declare that it owes the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) “vast sums.”

US President Donald Trump made the declare by Twitter on March 18.

He additionally mentioned that the US needs to be paid extra for the “expensive” protection it supplies to Germany.

“There is no debt account at NATO,” Reuters, in an article revealed on-line on March 19, quoted German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen as saying in an announcement on Sunday.

“Defense spending also goes into UN peacekeeping missions, into our European missions and into our contribution to the fight against IS terrorism,” von der Leyen mentioned.
