Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa has claimed he’s a descendant of Dr. Jose Rizal, on the event of the hero’s 156th start anniversary.
Dela Rosa made the revelation on the celebration of Rizal’s 156th start anniversary in Calamba, Laguna on Monday (June 19), the place he was the visitor speaker.
I’m very proud of that. Pinagmamayabang ko ‘yan,” Dela Rosa added.
The PNP chief mentioned he found his connection to Rizal throughout a discipline journey in Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte when he was a highschool scholar.
Dela Rosa mentioned it was his connection to Rizal which impressed him to model his hair just like the hero in his youthful days.
Rizal’s descendants are traced by his siblings since he had no baby of his personal.
