There isn’t any trigger for the general public to be alarmed over President Rodrigo Duterte’s absence within the public eye since Independence Day, Senate Majority Leader Vicente “Tito” Sotto III stated.

“Nagre-relax lang yun,” Sotto stated of Duterte Wednesday (June 14).

The Senate chief stated he doesn’t imagine the President has critical well being points.

“I’m sure the Palace will inform us if there’s cause for alarm,” he stated.

Duterte has not been seen in public since June 12, when he skipped Independence Day rites in Luneta.

Foreign Affairs Secretary Alan Peter Cayetano stated the President skipped the flag elevating and wreath laying ceremony at Rizal Park as a result of he was drained after condoling with the households of troopers slain in Marawi City at Villamor Airbase the earlier night time.
