In a departure from his regular warning of imminent destabilization plots, President Rodrigo Duterte on Sunday (March 19) stated he’s cool to going after those that unfold such rumors.
Facing Filipino reporters throughout his state go to to Myanmar, Duterte stated it’s anyone’s proper to criticize him.
“In the matter of going after them, it has not reached that level of violence, destabilization. It’s more of publicity. And for as long as it is really a peaceful exercise of the freedom of speech and freedom of the press, there’s nothing I can do about it,” he stated.
Duterte, nonetheless, stated it’s a totally different story when violence erupts as a result of of rumors of destabilization.
