The Philippine National Police stated that they haven’t monitored any terror threat that might sabotage the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Duterte on July 24.

Director Oscar Albayalde, chief of the National Capital Region Police Office, stated that though there are no terror threats, they are going to nonetheless proceed their intelligence gathering to organize for the SONA.

Albayalde stated that the police are monitoring the motion of the ISIS-linked Maute terror group, who’re at the moment inflicting battle in Marawi City.

The NCRPO earlier stated that they count on 15,000 protesters throughout SONA, and they are going to be deploying 6,000 police officers in Batasang Pambansa.
