MOSCOW — Russian authorities are denying stories that they’re moving troops to the border with North Korea over rising tensions within the Korean peninsula. The Interfax information company on Friday quoted Alexander Gordeyev, spokesman for the Far Eastern Military district, as saying that the motion of heavy weaponry, caught on movie and extensively distributed on social media, is a part of “absolutely scheduled maneuvers of combat readiness.” Gordeyev stated the navy was on its method again from drills elsewhere and denied any connection to the tensions round North Korea’s nuclear program.
