Vice President Leni Robredo has invited her rival, former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to observe the implementation of her anti-poverty program to show it’s not a “pretentious program of governance,” as his camp had claimed.
Robredo mentioned “Angat Buhay” is devoid of politics and open to anybody who needs to be part of.
“Siguro hindi niya naiintindihan ang programa,” the Vice President mentioned of Marcos on the sidelines of her go to to a highschool in Pampanga Thursday (June eight).
“Ang lahat ng tao dito imbitado to join. Baka gusto niya tingnan kung ano ang ginagawa namin. Kasi I’m sure kahit sinong tumingin, kung ano ginagawa namin, wala ditong politika,” she added.
Marcos’ spokesman, Vic Rodriguez, earlier took a potshot at Robredo as he expressed dismay on the Supreme Court’s determination to transfer the preliminary convention of his shopper’s ballot protest to July 11.
“Every day of delay benefits the unauthentic occupant of the office discharging fake public service based on pretentious program of governance whose real objective is to oust President Duterte, no less,” Rodriguez mentioned.
Instead of fueling discord, Robredo urged everybody to assist each other and be united.
