Could pork once more present the wanted funds for free tuition in 2018?
Sen. Panfilo Lacson mentioned late Thursday he plans to scour the proposed 2018 national budget for traces of pork, after studying there isn’t a provision for free tuition next year.

In late 2016, Lacson found and moved to take out the “pork-like” insertions made by the House of Representatives for the then proposed 2017 national budget.
This prompted the Senate to realign P8.three billion to cowl tuition of scholars in state schools and universities.
At the time, Lacson famous House members had been allowed to determine P80 million value of tasks earlier than the submission of the 2017 National Expenditure Program to Congress for deliberations – exactly the pork barrel system already declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
