The Philippine authorities has maintained its resolution not take part within the fifth round of peace talks with the communist motion regardless of efforts from each events to salvage the negotiations.
In a press convention in The Netherlands early Monday (May 29), Presidential Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza mentioned “there are no compelling reasons” for the federal government to alter its earlier resolution.
