The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) just isn’t able to challenge the brand new identification playing cards for abroad Filipino employees regardless of the system launch final week.
“Hindi pa po nagbibigay ng OFW ID sa ngayon,” the POEA stated in a press release.
The POEA stated guidelines will still be issued earlier than the issuance of the brand new IDs for Filipinos working overseas.
“Hindi pa po tapos ang guidelines tungkol dito,” the POEA stated.
“Hintayin po ang mga sumusunod na announcement para sa tamang proseso ng pagkuha ng ID ng mga OFW,” it added.
With this, the division reminded returning OFWs to proceed to use for exemption or appointment for the abroad employment certificates.
The new OFW ID system, also referred to as the DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) ID, was launched final week by the federal government to facilitate smoother transactions with authorities and personal businesses associated to their employment overseas. (Philippine News Agency)
