The authorities has requested for public understanding following its resolution to restrict the discharge of data associated to its operations to liberate Marawi City from native terror teams.
“As per guidance from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), we refrain from making comments on the latest developments in the main battle area of Marawi at this time; as ongoing operations may be jeopardized, as well as the lives of the remaining hostages, or soldiers in the frontlines,” Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella mentioned.
He mentioned they might launch info “as soon as conditions on the ground allow us.”
“Thank you for your understanding. We covet your unceasing intercession for the safety of all, and lasting peace in Marawi,” he mentioned.
