The Makati Business Club (MBC) cheered President Rodrigo Duterte’s emphasis on tax reform program, education, good international relations in his second State of the Nation Address Monday.
“MBC welcomes the President’s emphasis on tax reform, education, infrastructure, and commitment to environmental protection including climate change initiatives,” MBC Chairman Edgar Chua stated Tuesday.
In his two-hour speech, Duterte urged the Senate to help the Comprehensive Tax Reform Program (CTRP) in full, after the House of Representative heeded his name to move the invoice.
