The United States’ donation of two model new Cessna – 208 B Grand Caravan aircraft will go a good distance in bettering the potential of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Malacañang mentioned.
In an announcement Saturday (July 29), presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella mentioned the US’ aircraft donation reaffirms its robust alliance with the Philippines.
These aircraft would bolster the potential and readiness of our Air Force to assist tackle terrorism and assist our intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations,” he mentioned.
According to the US Embassy in Manila, the planes are outfitted with superior sensors, cameras and communication gear.
The US has been offering intelligence and technical help to troops combating in Marawi City.
