Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre has assured he won’t let go unpunished the jail guard who was caught Thursday (August) with a sachet of shabu contained in the New Bilibid Prison (NBP).
“DOJ (Department of Justice) will not tolerate these acts of our people,” he burdened in an announcement.
“If a crime has been committed, it will not go unpunished,” acknowledged Aguirre who assigned himself to head the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) whereas President Rodrigo Duterte has but to appoint its director basic.
The DOJ chief has already ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to examine the guard recognized as Prison Guard 1 Ernesto Dionglay Jr.
Dionglay was present in possession with a sachet of 100 grams of shabu by members of the Police Special Action Force (SAF) who have been conducting physique search of workers on the gate of the utmost safety compound of the Bilibid.
The guard is presently detained on the Muntinlupa City Police Station and faces charges of possession of unlawful medicine.
