He moved heaven on earth simply to be along with his father on his birthday.
Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada made the perfect of his short-term freedom and carried out a song number in honor of his father Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada on his 80th birthday. A video of Estrada singing a Filipino song was posted on Twitter by Karen Jimeno of the Department of Public Works and Highways.
Estrada was in a position to be part of the mayor’s birthday bash in Manila after the Sandiganbayan gave him a six-hour furlough on Wednesday, April 19.
The anti-graft courtroom allowed Estrada’s furlough from 5 to 11 p.m., due to “deeply embedded Filipino customs and traditions, covering respect and regard for parents and the elderly.”
