President Rodrigo Duterte hasn’t forgotten the alleged involvement of some policemen in Ozamiz City in the death of six troopers years in the past.
In a speech on the 116th anniversary of the police service in Camp Crame Wednesday (August 9), Duterte vowed to avenge the death of the troopers who have been allegedly killed by policemen working for Parojinog.
“I will be visiting Ozamiz. I will not tell you when. But I will warn the policemen there. ‘Yung kasama ni Parojinog and his cahoots who are members of the PNP and who were responsible for the deaths of the six soldiers before, you will have your comeuppance,” he stated.
Duterte earlier tagged the Parojinogs in the unlawful drug commerce and different crimes.
Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo Parojinog Sr. and 14 others have been killed in a raid performed by members of the Region 10 Criminal Investigation and Detection Group on July 30.
The mayor’s daughter, Ozamiz City Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog, is at the moment detained on the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame.
