President Rodrigo Duterte has lastly defined what he meant when he informed troopers that he would assume duty for them ought to they rape three girls.

“Sabi ko, lahat ng kasalanan ninyo kung mapatawad ka, sabi ko rape mapatawad kita siguro pero kung tatlong beses, baka ako na ang makulong. That was just being sarcastic,” he stated.
“Hindi ako nagpapatawa ‘yung rape-rape-rape. It was just to stress the point. Hindi ako nagpapatawa ng sundalo. Ang sundalo hindi naman tumatawa,” Duterte added.
In his speech to troopers in Iligan City final May, Duterte stated: “Ako na ang magpakulong sa inyo. Pag naka-rape ka ng tatlo, aminin ko na akin ‘yun,” he stated.
