While he has his personal complaints in regards to the Commission on Human Rights, Sen. Panfilo Lacson will nonetheless battle to undo the House of Representatives’ slashing of the company’s budget to P1,000.

More importantly, Lacson mentioned the CHR is created by the Constitution, and will be abolished solely by amending the Charter.

“Dahil created ito ng Constitution at ito naman tinitignan natin na pinagaralang mabuti ng framers ng Constitution, sino tayo para question-in ito maliban kung gusto natin i-amend ang charter at i-abolish sa pamamagitan ng pag amend ng ating Constitution?” he mentioned.
