Malacañang stays hopeful that abroad Filipina employee Jennifer Dalquez shall be spared from execution after the kids of the employer she killed snubbed a court docket hearing earlier this month.

Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella described the newest improvement in Dalquez’s case as an “answered” prayer.

“Our prayers have again been answered. On the hearing on the case of Ms. Jennifer Dalquez in Abu Dhabi held today, April 26, the two sons of the deceased failed to appear in the hearing, as ordered by the judge last April 12,” he stated in an announcement Wednesday (April 26).

” In view of this, the authorized counsel of Ms. Dalquez moved to have her acquitted,” Abella added.

The authorities is working to overturn the United Arab Emirates determination towards Dalquez.

According to the DFA, the court docket has requested the kids of the employer to attend the hearing on March 27 and swear 50 occasions, in entrance of the court docket and in the title of Allah, that Dalquez was the just one who may’ve killed their father.
