National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon can see by way of Joma Sison’s technique when he insists that the Communist Party of the Philippines-National Democratic Front (CPP-NDF) has no control over its armed wing, the New People’s Army (NPA).
In a briefing in Malacanang Friday, Esperon mentioned it was Sison himself who claimed that the communist leaders negotiating for a peace pact with the federal government would not have control over the NPA attacks throughout the negotiations.
“Sinabi niya na, ‘Those things are happening there and we could not command them because we have no control over them. We have to relay your complaint to their commanders’. Kaya doon palang, ‘nong sinabi niyang they have no control over their forces, aba’y titingnan din namin. Kasi sasabihin ko, ‘Teka, teka. Eh bakit ka nakikipag-usap sa amin? Bakit ikaw ang ginagawa nilang sugo dito?’. Sabagay, si Professor Joma Sison is not a member of the panel but the NDF consultant,” Esperon mentioned.
But whereas it appeared that Sison and different prime canine of the CPP-NDF haven’t control of the NPA, Esperon mentioned that this might be a part of their ploy to eschew for the deaths, accidents, property harm and terror brought on by the NPA.
“He (Sison)can always say that na wala siyang control dahil they do not want to take responsibility for that and they could always feign, what? Innocence? Na ‘Uy, wala kaming pakialam doon. Sila may gawa niyan’. Eh, teka ano ba ‘to?” mentioned Esperon.
But regardless of the doublespeak, Esperon mentioned the President has accommodated Sison and his comrades simply to maintain the peace talks rolling. Unfortunately, Esperon mentioned that the persevering with NPA attacks have pushed the President to his restrict which has led to the suspension of all discussions.
Esperon mentioned that the NPA has attacked troopers, police and residents from Davao who have been near the guts of the President.
“Nakikita niyo ‘yun? Halos lahat ng wounded o casualty ng AFP, PNP pinupuntahan niya. Kasi bawas sa ano niya ‘yun eh. Hindi lang sila, sabi nga niya eh, ‘They are not… They are soldiers of the Republic but they are also my soldiers and policemen’,” he mentioned.
Sinong obsessed? Esperon claims Joma Sison remains to be consumed with armed wrestle after 50 years of battle
