Communications Secretary Mocha Uson will soon add one other title to her resume: an Army reservist.
An official of the Armed Forces of the Philippines revealed Friday (July 28) Uson’s plan to grow to be a reservist in response to the allegation she was not certified to put on a army uniform.
In a press convention in Malacanang, AFP spokesperson Brigadier General Restituto Padilla clarified that Uson has not been sporting a army uniform within the cases she was photographed in what seemed like a soldier’s camouflage apparel.
“She was wearing a — she was wearing a — I think one that can be bought commercially. And for your information, Asec. Mocha is in the process of being a reservist,” he stated.
Uson confirmed Padilla’s assertion in a Facebook post.
“[M]atagal na po naka-process ang aking papel bilang Army reservist,” she stated.
