Senator Antonio Trillanes IV might have earned the ire of a few of his colleagues for talking his thoughts by calling his colleague as cowards and puppets of the current administration.
But Trillanes’ claims acquired a backing from a fellow minority bloc member, Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan who shared his observations on the problem on the independence of the establishment.
“As a third-term senator, I have seen greater independence on the part of the Senate as an institution under previous administrations,” Pangilinan stated in a textual content message to reporters.
The senator’s feedback, made in a breakfast discussion board Monday drew criticisms from Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III and Sen. Panfilo Lacson who each deplored the identify calling he made.
So takot.
