Even if it’s for victims of recent disasters similar to typhoons at dwelling, Filipinos in Japan had been reminded to not solicit donations in public.

The Philippine embassy in Tokyo, in a “strong” reminder, stated such solicitation in public, particularly in practice premises, is towards Japan’s legal guidelines.

Also, the Philippine Embassy in Tokyo harassed it “does not endorse these fund-raising activities by individuals and organizations.”

Instead, it stated donations to the Philippines, notably throughout occasions of catastrophe, could also be coursed by formally designated Philippine authorities businesses.

These businesses embody the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
