President Duterte on Friday obtained a “warning” from Sen. Grace Poe on his oft-repeated use of profanities in his public pronouncements, the newest of which was addressed to former Pres. Benigno Aquino III.
There is not any debate on whether or not the President’s use of vulgar phrases and cussing had been inappropriate for public engagements, mentioned Poe, chair of the Senate committee on public data and mass media and former head of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
“(But) style na nya ‘yan pero syempre pag ikaw ay pinapakinggan ng mga bata eh gagayahin. Sang-ayon ba tayo ‘dun? Basta alam na ninyo kung anong tama at mali, paalala lang, SGP,” Poe mentioned to reporters.
SGP, which by the way is the senator’s initials, was imagined to confer with “strictly general patronage”, much like “strong parental guidance” rating or classification system which she launched whereas she was nonetheless on the helm of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Duterte lashed again at Aquino who criticized his struggle on medicine and asserted achievements of his marketing campaign.
In the method of retaliating at Aquino, Duterte referred to as his predecessor “idiot” at the very least twice.
