Martial law in Mindanao will stay in impact till the threats of terrorism and insurgency have been resolved, President Duterte introduced in a video message for presidency troops.
In the message posted by the Radio-Television Malacañang on Twitter, the President recommended the troops for his or her relentless effort to retake Malawi City from the fear teams and directed them to sustain the battle in opposition to the terrorists.
“I enjoin the troops to carry on until the objective of wiping out these enemies of the state and the people has been achieved. I urge you to remain steadfast and alert as martial law in Mindanao will remain in effect to counter the persistent threat of terrorism and insurgency,” he stated.
As the federal government prepares for the rehabilitation of Marawi, the President stated troops should “not let our guards down” in opposition to the emergence of terrorism and bandits in space.
The President, in the identical video, paid tribute to the fallen authorities troops in Marawi, citing their braveness and bravado in battle. He assured that households of the slain troops shall be given correct authorities help.
“The nation will never neglect the heroes of our Republic. Let us all continue to strive to build a stable, orderly and progressive society, continue to work to make our shared dream a genuine lasting peace a reality,” he stated.
“My salute goes to all of you there. Maraming salamat. Mabuhay kayong lahat, hindi ko kayo kalimutan at hindi ko kayo pababayaan,” stated the commander-in-chief.
