President Rodrigo Duterte needs the communist leaders that had been launched on bail to return to jail now that the peace talks with the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) is over.
In an interview in Davao City Friday (July 21), Duterte stated there is no such thing as a cause for the NDFP consultants to proceed having fun with their freedom since they had been launched on the situation that they take part within the peace talks.
“They’ll have to surrender or we will hunt them down. I’m sorry. Please do not resist because magkagulo tayo niyan,” he warned.
“If you resist with a firearm or with violence there, do not resist, surrender, because ang usapan natin i-release kayo conditionally,” he added.
Duterte has freed not less than 19 NDFP consultants as a gesture of goodwill within the peace talks.
But this week, the President stated he now not needs to proceed negotiations with the communists since their armed wing, the New People’s Army, has not stopped attacking authorities forces.
Duterte stated he’ll make certain the freed NDFP consultants will be “hunted” after the disaster in Marawi City is over.
