President Rodrigo Duterte is making an attempt to elevate the morale of the navy within the face of difficulties in retaking Marawi City from the palms of ISIS-backed terrorists.

‎”110 million tayo, hindi tayo maubos. Kaya imposibleng matalo tayo sa giyera. Walang-wala yan. Kaya natin ‘to,” stated Duterte in a speech earlier than the first mechanized infantry brigade at Camp Leono in Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat final June 11.

Duterte assured the troopers that he would increase as a lot as P50 billion for a belief fund for his or her pension and their kids’s training.

He defined that the navy operations in Marawi City have taken longer than anticipated as a result of the Maute and Abu Sayyaf teams had been in a position to make a foothold and defend it fiercely since they took over in May 23.

Duterte ‎stated he wouldn’t enter into any negotiations with terrorists as a result of there was no turning again on this warfare.

“Walang negosasyon sa istorya. Tapusin muna natin ‘yung giyera. Basta hindi ako, ayaw kong makipag-usap,” he stated.
