The President advised the group to be affected person and wait for Ang, whom he stated he wanted to pick up however failed to contact.

“We have to be patient just a little while. Ang ating pinaka sponsor, Ramon Ang, ang gagastos nito, natraffic. I could not… hindi ko malaman kung nasaan. Sabi ko, sunduin ko siya banda pero I could not get in touch with him. Hintay-hintayin na lang natin,” he stated.

Despite Ang’s tardiness, Duterte praised the top honcho of San Miguel Corporation for his generosity.

“It will just be a little while. Sandali man lang siguro‘yun. He was good enough to… This is what you get if you do not accept money. They will offer something else and that else is itong project na ito,” he stated.
