President Rodrigo Duterte has no regrets about waging battle towards unlawful medicine as a result of he had asked pushers and merchants to stop early in his time period.

In a speech on the 140th founding anniversary of the Philippine Chinese Charitable Association Inc. in Manila Wednesday evening (June 28), Duterte recalled interesting “on bended knees” to all these concerned within the unlawful drug commerce to stop.

“If you remember my dialect or language, nakaluhod ako sabi ko, ‘I am on bended knees, asking you to stop because you will die,’” he mentioned.

‘Ako na ang lumuluhod sa iyo para sa buhay mo. Eh, kung ayaw mo pa rin p***** i** ka, ‘di papatayin talaga kita. Nakaluhod na nga ‘yung tao sa iyo eh,’” Duterte added.

The President has been criticized by human rights teams and overseas watchdogs for his brutal marketing campaign towards unlawful medicine, which they mentioned has claimed over 7,000 lives.

Duterte didn’t deny giving cash to cops to arrest drug pushers, saying it was an essential a part of constructing a case.
“Talagang nagbibigay ako ng pera. Totoo ‘yan. Lahat ng dumaan na military o pulis, binibigyan ko ng pera to make them effective,” he mentioned.
