Despite his criticism of the Catholic Church and propensity to curse, President Rodrigo Duterte additionally reads the Bible— or extra precisely, just one chapter of the holy e-book.

In boosting troopers’ morale, Duterte mentioned this time– when they’re combating the terrorist Maute group– “is a time for victory.”

“We will not lose it. How can we lose it? We have everything. Wala kayong problema. I will take care of you,” he mentioned.

From Davao City, Duterte to flew to Iligan City to offer a pep discuss to troopers amid their ongoing encounter with the Maute group in Marawi City.

Duterte declared martial regulation in Mindanao on May 23 due to the conflict between authorities forces and the Maute group.
