Bertiz believes that the findings of the NBI shall help in the case build-up in opposition to the erring cops who’re the alleged perpetrators of what he calls the “latest Kian de los Santos-like anti-crime killing.”
According to the report of the Caloocan police, Arnaiz flagged down a taxi cab in Navotas City then hit the driving force with a pistol and took his pockets. The cab driver supposedly managed to ask for help from cops however Arnaiz fired at them, resulting in a shootout.
Though supportive of the anti-drug marketing campaign, Bertiz stated he doubts the police’ model of the incident. He additionally urged University of the Philippines president Danilo Concepcion to maintain an in depth watch over this case.
Bertiz stated.
