Soldiers and civilians went emotional after lastly seeing the Philippine Flag being raised in the capitol constructing of Marawi City to have fun the 119th Independence Day on Monday, three weeks after the Maute Terrorist Group occupied the Southern City.
Armed Forces of the Philippines promised that the flag of the Philippines can be raised in Marawi City on Independence Day, as an indication that the southern metropolis already liberated by the AFP.
Despite of the continued battle, the ceremony grew to become profitable and the soldiers and civilians who attended the flag raising, realizing that the battle is sort of over and the Maute Terrorist Group already making an attempt to flee town.

Bomb explosions nonetheless heard in Marawi even during the singing of the National Anthem, an indication that AFP remains to be making an attempt to exterminate the remaining terrorist inside town.
As of writing, there are already 58 soldiers killed in motion during the Marawi City Crisis.
Some reviews circulated that the Maute brothers already killed in airstrikes, whereas some relations of the terrorist group already arrested by the authorities, together with the patriarch and matriarch of the Maute.
