The Duterte administration leaves quite a bit to be desired in the case of solving traffic issues, based mostly on the most recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey.

Results of the second quarter survey, which was first printed in Business World Tuesday (August 29), confirmed that satisfaction with the federal government’s effort to enhance traffic was at a “moderate” +25.

SWS classifies web satisfaction rankings of no less than +70 as “excellent”; +50 to +69 as “very good; +30 to +49, “good”; +10 to +29, “moderate”; +9 to –9, “neutral”; -10 to –29, “poor”; -30 to –49, “bad”; -50 to –69, “very bad”; in addition to –70 and beneath as “execrable.”

The SWS survey was carried out from June 23 to 26 with 1,200 respondents nationwide. It has a margin of error of ±three factors for national percentages and ±6 factors for Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade has vowed there will probably be enchancment within the traffic scenario in Metro Manila if Congress offers him emergency powers, however lawmakers seem like cool to it.
