Former Manila councilor Greco Belgica Belgica has accused opposition Senator Antonio Trillanes IV of being engaged in ghost projects using cash he obtained from the Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP).
“We have studied the documents,” Belgica assured reporters on Monday (September four).
“In there, you can trace where the money goes and where it comes from. We have seen that Trillanes had so many ghost projects,” he stated.
With this, Belgica believes there’s sufficient proof to pursue instances in opposition to the senator.
“But we want the DOJ (Department of Justice) to further investigate and validate and it would be up to them if they would pursue separate cases against him,” stated Belgica.
Belgica and different members of the Coalition for Investigation and Prosecution filed the paperwork earlier than the DOJ on Monday for investigation.
Among the anomalous projects, Belgica stated his group uncovered Trillanes funded a challenge involving lamp posts in components of the nation however no lamp posts have been constructed.
