“Ang nakakalungkot lang, na ginagawa itong national holiday, or parang celebration para sa buong bansa, kasi parang kinakalimutan natin yung lahat ng kasalanan na nagawa sa taumbayan,” she mentioned.
Robredo famous that the Marcoses have but to return their ill-gotten wealth greater than three a long time after the previous President was ousted from energy. This, she mentioned, was a sign that the Marcoses have but to indicate their regret for the sins they dedicated towards Filipinos.
“Pero hanggang ngayon walang ganoon. So bakit kailangan nating ipagbunyi bilang isang bayan iyong naging buhay ng yumaong pangulo?” she requested.
Duterte declared September 11 a particular non-working day in Ilocos Norte to permit its residents to rejoice Marcos’ beginning centennial.
The Marcoses marked the previous President’s birthday with a brief program on the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
