Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan on Wednesday (May 10) denounced reported plans by the federal government to show Janet Lim Napoles into a state witness within the persevering with litigation of the pork barrel scam case.

Turning an alleged mastermind within the case to become a state witness is meaningless, the senator mentioned.

I think this is legally questionable. Pangilinan added.

Talk of Napoles presumably turning into a state witness surfaced after the Court of Appeals acquitted her within the unlawful detention case filed by her cousin and former aide, Benhur Luy.

Should plans to show Napoles into a state witness push by means of, the senator mentioned it’s seemingly she is going to solely fabricate her testimony to avoid wasting her personal pores and skin.

Hindi tama ‘yan,” he mentioned.
