Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II is planning to place on an immigration look bulletin order (ILBO) all suspects behind the P8.7 billion road proper of method (RROW) scam in General Santos City.
Aguirre gave this assurance after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has began its probe on the scam which began method again in 2009.
Several high-profile Aquino Cabinet officers have been implicated in the road scam, particularly former Budget Secretary Florencio Abad and former Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson.
Aguirre realized from the male witness concerned in the scam that members of the syndicate have remained lively.
“Nandiyan pa rin sabi niya sa akin,” he stated.
“Some of the persons named by our witness as being involved is a Wilma Mamburam, Col. Chino Mamburan, Merceditas Dumlao and Nelson Ti. Our witness further revealed that Mr. Nelso Ti, the financier of the group is a close relative of Domingo Lee, Philippine Envoy to China, and is supposedly close to former President Benigno Aquino III,” Aguirre stated.
Under the scam, the syndicate makes claims for “just compensation” of road proper of method utilizing faux land titles of non-existent land house owners.
