Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to work with the International Police Organization (INTERPOL) in arresting self-confessed Davao Death Squad (DDS) member, retired policeman Arturo Lascanas.
“In the interest of the service and pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, you are hereby directed to coordinate with the International Police Organization or INTERPOL to gather information on the location and whereabouts of Arturo Lascanas and to coordinate with the proper authorities for his apprehension,” learn his memorandum to NBI Director Dante Gierran.
Lascanas left the nation on April eight for Singapore the place he’s believed staying together with his household.
The order was issued after the Davao City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 10 issued an arrest warrant in opposition to Lascanas who’s going through two counts of tried homicide and one depend of homicide.
