Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II has ordered the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to decide who should be held accountable in permitting the attack on the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

In Department Order No. 354 dated June four, Aguirre advised the NBI “to conduct investigation and case build-up over the shooting incident at Resorts World Manila, Pasat City, last 02 June 2017 which led to numerous death and injury.”

The Secretary requested the NBI to decide “whether there is criminal, civil, administrative culpability against the owners, managers and employees of Resorts World Manila” and also “any agency, office and instrumentality of the government.”

“We need to know and to determine the responsibility and the liability, if any, of anyone which made possible the tragic events at Resorts World Manila,” he mentioned in his assertion.

“Whoever is responsible for allowing this tragedy to occur should be made accountable under our laws and before our courts,” he added.
