Dangerous Drugs Board chairman Dionisio Santiago is optimistic that the administration can win the warfare on unlawful medication even when President Rodrigo Duterte stated one term isn’t enough.

In a press briefing in Malacañang Tuesday (September 5), Santiago disputed Duterte’s assertion that the drug menace can’t be ended.

“Achievable ‘yan. As a matter of fact, nagtaas ng kamay si Presidente, sabi ko, ah hindi, for the first time kokontrahin ko siya, kaya,” he stated.

Santiago, nevertheless, stated the general public should train self-discipline for the drug downside to be solved.

“So ang makaka-solve nito, hindi si Presidente, ‘yung Pilipino mismo, tayo-tayo,” he stated.

“Nangako ako that I will do away with the shabu. Ngayon, alam ko na na hindi ito matutupad, na hindi talaga matapos ‘to,” Duterte informed troopers in Marawi City final August.

Nevertheless, Duterte vowed to pursue the warfare on medication.
