The Department of Justice is establishing two court rooms in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City which is focused because the venue of the trial of members of the Maute terrorist group.

Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II stated Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno herself made the proposal throughout their assembly at her workplace on Monday (June 19).

“Kaya nga titingnan ko kung meron ng courtroom doon,” stated the Secretary.

“Gusto niya dalawa so we would be calling the PNP (Philippine National Police), AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines) kung makakapag-establish ng other court,” he disclosed.

Quite a few arrested Maute members have already been flown over and detained to Camp Bagong Diwa.

The Camp Bagong Diwa is at present the venue of the trial of the accused within the Maguindanao bloodbath case together with members of the highly effective Ampatuan clan.

There have been 58 individuals principally journalists who died in 2009 Maguindanao bloodbath.
